Exploring the Best Neighborhoods in Franklin County, Ohio for Nightlife

Clintonville, once the home of Revolutionary War veterans, is now a bustling destination for young professionals and families. German Village, located south of downtown Columbus and across Interstate 70, is renowned for its beautifully preserved brick structures from the mid-19th century. This historic district is well-maintained and offers a variety of attractions for both tourists and locals. Franklinton, the closest neighborhood to the west of downtown Columbus, has seen tremendous transformation over the past decade.

It's home to the Center for Science and Industry (COSI)'s award-winning interactive museum and the National Veterans Memorial. Residents of Victorian Village can easily access the Short North district or the Arena district, where top entertainment attractions such as the Nationwide Arena, Lower Field, restaurants, bars, and more are located. The Olentangy bike path is also nearby in Harrison West. Unfortunately, there aren't many hotels in Ohio that are within walking distance of campus bars.

However, Discover residents can still enjoy socializing with friends and neighbors at the Gemüt Biergarten, cooling off with their children at the water fountains of Blackburn Park, or just taking a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. Victorian Village is a historic Columbus neighborhood that is home to many of the city's wealthiest residents. This neighborhood near the East Side is an ideal place to settle in an up-and-coming area with plenty of history.
